Transforming Video Collaboration for a Cruise Line’s UK Headquarters

A renowned cruise line, approached us for assistance with relocating their UK head office. The project necessitated the complete design of nineteen meeting spaces with Webex devices and BYOD support; two spaces with Webex Boards. Two divisible / flexible spaces with Webex devices and a large boardroom with Webex and integrated audio. A number of rooms were also fitted with Cisco room panels to provide room availability and at-door scheduling

Comprehensive Project Scope

We were delighted to step in, handling project management, room design, and engineering services. Starting from a blank canvas, our task was to design, implement, and manage multiple video collaboration spaces.

Tailored Design Approach

Our approach began with a comprehensive assessment to understand end-user journeys and workflows thoroughly. Our designers and AV experts worked directly with both the client and the lead contractor to create meeting spaces which integrated into and reflected the overall design requirements of the new offce. These designs balance architectural form, system function, flexibility, and budgetary requirements.

Customised Solutions

As part of each design, we identified the necessary solutions to support and match the right technology to meet the client’s needs and business outcomes. We also considered the physical environment, including room acoustics (DB ratings), recommended Lux light levels, and practical technology installation locations. Additionally, we determined the most appropriate cameras, screen sizes, microphone positioning, and camera tracking technology.

Advanced Collaboration Tools

After designing and delivering the meeting spaces and the boardroom according to the client’s scope, we also installed two Webex boards to enhance the client’s collaboration capabilities. Featuring stunning Ultra HD video, dual-camera intelligence, a capacitive touchscreen, and spatial audio, these boards provide premium experiences in collaboration spaces of all sizes.
